The following are our answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:

 

  • What will be in the packages?

    • As of this moment, packages will be filled with educational activities such as books, brainteasers, puzzles, and various arts-and-crafts materials

  • How will you distribute them?

    • Packages are distributed through social service organizations such as New Brunswick Tomorrow and Humanity First.

  • Do you require proof of low-income status?

    • No proof of status is required by our organization because the distribution will through various organizations. We require no second confirmation.

  • Are we able to reach out on our own? 

    • Yes! Please leave a message in our contact sections and let us know a method of communication that works best for you.

  • Do you mail them out?

    • Share Some Joy currently distributes packages throughout the state of New Jersey.

  • Is this organization specifically in response to COVID-19?

    • Our organization is designed to be a Disaster Relief Nonprofit and will continue our initiative however it may be needed in the future.

  • Are you a registered nonprofit?

    • Our organization's funds currently do not exceed $5,000 per year, allowing us to operate without 501(c)(3) status. 

  • How are tangible donations accepted?

    • If you would like to make a tangible donation, please contact us by email at sharesomejoy.az@gmail.com

    • We ask that only new items be donated to protect the health of our team and households that will be receiving them.

    • Please send a picture of the donations in the same email so we can better verify the reliability of a donation.
